Do I still need to offer a buyer's agent commission?Following the 2024 NAR settlement, offering a buyer's agent commission is no longer mandatory. However, many sellers still choose to offer 2-2.5% to attract the widest pool of buyer agents. This is your call — HomeRise doesn't require it. You can offer any amount, or none at all, depending on your market and strategy.

Is there a cancellation fee?No. You can cancel your listing at any time with no penalty. The upfront listing fee ($95 – $595) is non-refundable since it covers the cost of processing and submitting your MLS listing, but you'll never be charged a cancellation fee or early termination penalty. The settlement fee is only due if your home sells.
